Adamantium, this name triggers so name memories of us from where got to know it, when it first appeared and what all features doe it has. Now, these are kind of question which generally a Marvel comic fan would know but there but all who watches the movies know how it really came or why is it so much popular in the comic.
Adamantium is a fictional metal alloy that is discussed in Marvel Comics. Mostly it's known as a substance bonded with Wolverines skeleton and claws. There is some basic property of this metal that is there, though it's fictional still, every metal has some components of its own. The components of the metal were kept separately in a different block of resins and while making the metal these blocks are melted together, mixing the block and evaporating the resins. Adamantium is highly durable and can also prevent a person from telepathing probing or attacks. Adamantium also reserves the power to survive a nuclear explosion or a blow from strongest duper human. Creating a small amount of adamantium is very expensive.
It was said the Hercules, the demigod of Greek mythology, wielded an enchanted golden mace which was made of Adamantium. Inspired by this myth Dr. Myron MacLain desired to create an indestructible metal during WWII. When it was created even Dr. was not in is sense to acknowledge how did this metal was created due to which, it was not possible to replicate it so he shaped it into a disc which later became the shield of Captain America.
Afterward, Dr. Myron MacLain tried to make the metal without Vibranium but ended up making a True Adamantium which was thought to be indestructible but there were 2 incidences where these claims seem to fail.
So, if you ever want to make an Adamantium and try it on yourself then you might have to die once to meet Dr. Myron MacLain to know all the component required and procedure to form it and also born as a mutant with self-healing power.
